  • What is SpotsWiFi device?
    Is a mobile hotspot wireless portable router device that connects any WiFi enabled device (smartphones, tablets, PCs) to 4G internet without any cable or installment. By using SpotsWiFi, you will avoid expensive data roaming charges and you won’t have to seek public WiFi anytime you need an unlimited internet connection.
  • Do i need to active the services?
    No. The devices SpotsWiFi are already activated and configured.
  • When does the SpotsWiFi service commence?
    The service commences on the date that you select as the delivery date. So the delivery date is the date you receive the product and it counts as day 1.
  • What happens to my personal information and data?
    All of the SpotsWiFi device are fully reformatted back to factory condition so that no personal information is ever stored or released.
  • What are the charges for lost/stolen devices?
    If your WiFi Hotspot is lost or stolen please check out our Terms and Conditions.
  • What’s in the delivered box?
    The box includes a portable WiFi Hotspot, AC adaptor, USB cable, Carrying Pouch, user manual and ackage for Return. Can also include powerbank or just a SIM card.
  • Is it hard to use?
    Of course not! Press the device's on/off button and it will emit a WiFi signal. Find it on your device and enter the password. You can simply use the NFC function.
  • How long does the battery last?
    A fully charged battery lasts around 6 hours.

  • How long in advance do I need to book my SpoptsWiFi?
    Typically at least 2-3 days, to give us enough time to make sure your device is ready and waiting for you when you arrive.
  • Do you deliver to Madeira and the Azores?
    Yes, it takes 3 working days for Madeira and 5 working days for the Azores.
  • Do you deliver at weekends?
    For deliveries outside Lisbon, we do not deliver at weekends. For those wishing to use SpotsWifi on a Saturday or Sunday, it is advisable to make Friday the delivery date. Weekend deliveries to Lisbon city centre can be made on a case-by-case basis at an additional cost.   • Do you deliver the next day?
    Yes, if the address is in the city of Lisbon and the delivery is made by 12:00 (local time). Please send an e-mail to info@spotswifi.com and share as much information as possible so that we can help you.
  • Can I change the delivery address?
    Yes, you can change your delivery address until your SpotsWiFi is sent. Please send an e-mail to info@spotswifi.com and share as much information as possible so that we can help you.
  • What if I provide an incorrect delivery address?
    If the details of your delivery address prevent the delivery of your device, it will be returned to our services and additional costs will be charged for any reshipment. If you request a change to the delivery address after we’ve already shipped your SpotsWiFi, there will be a penalty fee charged to you
  • How do I get my SpotsWiFi?
    You give us your arrival date and the address where you are staying on your first night in Portugal and we will make sure your SpotsWiFi is waiting there for you when you arrive.
  • Where can I receive my SpotsWiFi?
    We will deliver your SpotsWiFi to the address indicated on the booking form (hotel, airbnb, lisbon airport) or you can collect it from one of our partners
  • Can I have SpotsWiFi delivered to the hotel?
    Yes. We recommend that you provide us with the name under which the hotel is booked and the booking number. Also, please inform the hotel that there will be a delivery on your behalf, so that they can receive it and keep it for you.
  • Can I have SpotsWiFi delivered to AirBnB?
    Yes. We recommend that you provide us with the correct address, including the Eircode and house number. We advise you to choose the delivery date when you are at AirBnB to collect the SpotsWiFi.
  • What is the best way to return the SpotsWiFi?
    Simply use the pre-paid self-addressed (registered) envelope we provide and put it in the post boxes. You can find post boxes in airports, towns and cities. (CTT logo)
  • Where are the drop off points?

  • Can I return at the Airport?
    You can return SpotsWifi at the airport's post offices. There is no post box after customs at airports.
  • What should i do if i lose the return envelope?
    Contact us and we'll give you our address. Go to a post office and send it to our address by registered post for your protection.
  • What happens if I forget to return WiFicandy from Portugal?
    Contact us and we'll give you our address to return the device. Please do not use normal postal services, as the device may be damaged or stolen, in which case we will charge you the full cost of replacing the device. We recommend that you only use a global shipping service provider, such as DHL, UPS or FedEx.
  • What if the device gets lost on the way back?
    You are responsible for the safe and timely return of your Polish WiFi. For this reason, we always recommend using our pre-paid (registered) envelope.
  • What is the returns policy?
    Our returns policy allows 3 working days for returns to reach us from the last day of your rental plan. If the return is not made within 3 days, we will then charge a late fee of 9€ (nine euros) per each day being delayed. We advise our customers to make the return at a Post Office with the pre-paid (registered) envelope for your protection.   • What payment options are available?
    We accept most of international credit card issued by banks around the world, such as Visa, Mastercard, JCB and American Express. You can also make payments through PayPal system.
  • Can I extend my hire period?
    Yes no problem. Send us email to booking@spotswifi.pt.
  • Is VAT included on the prices?
    Yes! All our prices are with VAT.
  • Is an invoice issued?
    Yes, SpotsWiFi issues invoices for each order.
  • Do you take a security deposit?
    Yes. We take 40€ (forty euros) as a deposit, but it will be refunded to your credit card within 48 hours after your SpotsWiFi package is returned.
  • My trip has been cancelled. Can I cancel my booking too?
    Yes, you can cancel your booking at any time. Please email us at booking@spotswifi.pt. Check our Cancellation Policy in Terms and Conditions.
  • Do I really get unlimited internet?
    Yes, our hotspots include unlimited Internet for responsible use.
  • What is the download / upload speed of a SpotsWiFi?
    The speed of the SpotsWifi connection depends on coverage. Average 4G speeds in a medium covered area are usually as follow: · Download speed: 20 to 40 Mbps · Upload speed: 5 to 10 Mbps
  • How fast is the internet connection?
    We provide devices with 3G and 4G connection. The 4G it’s present in all the major cities or villages in Portugal, in the other areas, its covered with 3G. Please note that the speed of your internet may vary due to multiple factors, like indoor placements, network coverage or the number of simultaneous users using the mobile network.
  • What shall I do if I am having problems with my device?
    If you are having problems with your unit you should contact us as soon as possible, with email (info@spotswifi.com) or Whatsapp. Our Customer Service team will be available for you we can try to solve your problems remotely or, if it’s not possible send you a replacement. If you do not contact us we won’t be able refund you for the days you experienced problems.
